My name is Tom Schrimsher and I am a TEXAS DPS CERTIFIED CONCEALED
HANDGUN LICENSE Instructor.

I teach the Texas Concealed Handgun License course to keep America
armed and free.
My fees are reasonable:

Standard fee:   $75 Includes range fee
Veterans:        $60 Includes range fee
Police:            $60 Includes range fee
Firefighters:     $60 Includes range fee

FEES TO TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR BACKGROUND CHECKS:::
New license to those under 60 years old is $140 - Renewal to those under 60 years old, $70.
New license to Person 60 years old and above, $70 - Renewal to those 60 years old and older, $35.
New license to Veterans and Veterans over a year from service, $70 - Renewal to Veterans over a year from service, $35
New license to Active Veterans or those who served within one year, $0 - Renewal to active Veterans, $0

During your training for the Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL)
I will teach you:
Firearm Safety, Stance, Grip, Sighting, Shooting and Confidence with
the firearm. I teach basic shooting skills and you will get hands on
shooting experience at the range and I will help make your experience
at the range a pleasant one. I help the students at the range do their best.

I teach about the laws governing the Texas Concealed Handgun License holders and what you must do to obtain and keep your license.

Class starts at 7:00AM in Denton. Call for location.

HEARING PROTECTION AND EYE PROTECTION ARE A MUST.YOU CAN USE NORMAL GLASSES OR SAFETY GLASSES.EAR MUFF TYPE PROTECTION WILL PROTECT YOUR HEARING. IF YOU DON'T HAVE EYE AND EAR PROTECTION, LET ME KNOW. I WILL SUPPLY IT AT THE RANGE.NO EAR PLUGS ONLY.

FIREARMS:
Firearms used should be at least a .32 caliber and the semi-automatic type. This
allows you to carry either the revolver or the semi-automatic.
I can loan you a weapon at the range, you buy the ammo for it at the range.
One box of ammo (50 rounds) is required for the range portion of the course.

MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU ATTEND CLASS THAT YOUR FIREARMS AND MAGAZINES ARE UNLOADED.

BRING YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS OR ENEMIES TO CLASS WITH YOU. NO ONE WANTS TO SHOOT ALONE.

Class is a minimum of 10 hours. We break for lunch at 12:00PM and can have a short lunch period if needed.

Class should be through by 6:15PM.
